Willows for Edward the Moose

Honda and its Ohio associates aid wildlife in many ways. One unique recipient of this aid is Edward the Moose, a resident of the Columbus Zoo. When Edward exhibited digestive distress, the prescription for healing was willow branches. As a zoo employee drove by one of Honda’s plants, she noticed associates trimming willows in order to keep a pond healthy. She stopped and asked for the branches. A program was born. Honda continues to trim away and have healthy ponds, and Edward feels better as well.
