The Honda of America Racing Team has been developing new engineers through racing activities for nearly 20 years.
Although most of the focus is on how well the team performs in competition, the entire crew of dedicated associates makes sure the cars are ready for each race, while also keeping things in order on race day.
Honda of America Racing teams compete in Grand-Am Road Racing, the Cannonball One Lap of America, NRRA Drag racing and SCCA Solo/Autocross. The racing teams consist of talented associates who devote their enthusiasm and expertise to making the team a major competitor in each racing series.
Racing helps our associates learn and grow. Team members take what they learn on the track back to the production floor and what they learn on the production floor to the track -- such as project planning and problem solving. And by racing Honda cars, they learn ways to improve the engineering and manufacture of vehicles for our customers.
